You're Right!

A pic in many instances will expose a problem. I was not judging DogForum. I was hoping to reveal potential stumbles by genuine dog lovers who's desire to help may have rushed their answer. No answer or encouraging words are often times the best way to go.

I know that I know little. That is why I seek direction. At that time my best friend was hurting and needed help. His hurt will often cause me more mental anguish than his hurt causes him. Yes.. I am over protective and love him too much. Making me quick to judge and slow to listen. So much time and new problems have passed, all I can tell you is... I want to kill my dog because he gets my shirts out of the clothes hamper and puts them in his food when he is unhappy with my selection for his meal. And he did that tonight with a favorite shirt.

Sad part is, all i can do is talk to him. His response #@^ you!

Clarification for What Shadow said...

Shadow is older and spoiled. When he is unhappy about the meal selection for the day, when I'm not home he will take a shirt, (not pants or underwear) and stuff it in his food or water.

When I get on him about what he did, he gives me a look as if he were saying "Dave... If I don't want it, it is going on a shirt!"

I kind of understand what you meant, esp after your clarification..but.what you said about how you want to kill him...and you love him too much..That doesn't really make sense..
Anyway..good to hear that he is happy and healthy now

The use of the word "Kill"

When using the word "kill" around someone close, a friend, or family, it is never thought of literally.

For the most part, I have had a great life. However, since 2002, I have gone through a lot and Shadow means more to me than he should. He is 15 years old and I would take a bullet for him. He mostly eats what I eat, and for right now, I don't know what I would do without him. He gets by with "Murder" (ha ha).

Thanks for the email.

Thumbs up AMEN Sister!

Not to get religious on you, but the bible says people will let you down. However, God, The Bible, and my dog (Shadow) are always here for me, and Shadow is here in the flesh.

Thanks for your insight.
