Oh okay because the way I read it you were saying it was okay to feed dogs raw or cooked bones. My mistake.

Cooked bones especially chicken bones are not fine-as you stated when you clarified.

Anyways-to Squishy-after about 48 hours and a few poops you are in the clear (Dogs take 24-48 to pass what they've eaten) so as long as the time has passed and their have been normal poops then you're good That's very scary-we have had a dog get ahold of chicken bones and were lucky (it was just one) -but a friends dog had a perforated bowel from a chicken bone and very expensive surgery

All's well that ends well

Well, Looks like Lincoln is going to be just fine. He never had any difficulties at all. I stopped searching his poop for bones and blood after about a dozen evacuations. I never found any, so I assume they broke down in his system.

He's doing great and I am quite relieved. Thanks everyone for your advice and support!

-Mike- (and Lincoln)
