The shelter GAVE her to me and paid for everything they were so shocked I wanted her. Everyday is a gift...I just don't want her to suffer needlessly.

I have learned alot from this dog, even if alot of it is what to avoid next time around, or how bad breeding can screw up a dogs head. Every dog I have will affect the next one in a positive way.
Thats a great outlook!

So last night Critter was a wreck (so was I) this morning I woke up with her still on the bed (she normally jumps down so she can pace all morning and can't jump back up) I thought wow...she slept all night...wow.

I started the normal morning stuff...she normally hides in the bedroom all morning... Iam in the kitchen and I look down and she is at my feet. I can't even remember the last time she came into the kitchen....same when I went into the bathroom... she pretty much followed me around all morning...

I crate everyone but her and when I went to leave she followed me to the door...i thought...this is new...I asked her if she wanted to go with me and she got very excited and I thought...meh...sure I can go with this flow..

The car ride she layed down calmly and even went to sleep. I carried her through the "scary door" and she spent the whole day at work with me. She was calm the whole time...she napped...walked around...even took food from us. She napped on the way home too.

The vet said the prozac could start working in only a day or two with full results after two weeks or so. Today was her third dose. So I knew it should work fast...but wow. That was fast.

now shes just on the floor hanging out...not pacing...not panting..not licking her feet. Iam in shock.

I am so glad to hear the meds are working for her, big change huh? Hopefully she will continue to progress and enjoy being a dog!
Any news from her test results yet?

Thanks!

I figured I would have a voicemail on my phone at the end of my work day and there wasn't one. The vet said probably sunday for results so its possible its taking longer... if I don't get a call by mid tomoro I will call them.

Iam kinda not in a hurry to find out...because I have a feeling it will be bad....
