so I've had the DAP diffuser plugged in a week now...and the dog have taken turns wearing the dap collar (emma for a while and Critter for a while) and all I can say is WOW. Iam sold on this stuff. Critter has always fluctuated between bad and semi-normal with brief moments of normal.

I can say that the past week or so she has been mostly normal and actually HAPPY/playful with only brief moments of anxiety. Chili's reactivity in the yard has decreased, tho i have been using new methods on him (removal) so its hard to say its the DAP. Tippy has stopped licking her feet 100% this week.

So i'll keep you guys updated...I mean this all could be coincedental but its not seeming that way, I asked Kev if hes noticed a difference without me saying anything about my thoughts, and he said hes has seen a huge improvement in Critter.

and keeping with the theme of vanishing money and vets, Critter had blood taken today so she can be screened for yet another dental cleaning.

that does indeed sound very promising! i'm definitely interested now... thanks for the update on the DAP crios...

pawz, i can't remember exactly what it stand for but the DAP dispenses pheromones that are calming to a dog.

another dental for critter! didn't she just have one?

Crio,

I hope it all works out the best for both of you. Poor critter, and poor you. My prayers are with you.

I put my husband on Paxel about 10 years ago (by threating to walk out on him) and we're still married 10 years later. It worked! Don't know about Prozac but I think it would be similiar. Wouldn't that be great if it happened to Critter? Well, maybe not the 10 more years, since he's older then dirt, but another couple nice calm years might be nice.

lol, yeah without the prozac she'd be totally screwy. We always joke that she's going to outlive all the other dogs

The dap collar is basically the same as the diffuser, its but the pheromones of a lactating bitch inbedded into it.

Fawkes it seems like she just did huh? But I checked the records and it was back in october...and I usually have them done twice a year, so shes overdue. Her teeth look and smell foul

so Critter had her dental yesterday...they had to remove a tooth that I guess was infected, so she'll be on meds...

Kev had to pick her up today, since Iam stuck at work. Check out these texts I found on my phone

1. Mutt in hand

2. She crapped in the cage and walked through it. They bathed her

3.and it peed in my car. At least they gave me the towel she was wrapped in.

OH man oh man @ kev and for Creeeter.

its been soo chill with her gone. Back to the madness.

Tippy had a (HUGE!) foxtail removed from her sinus and hip xrays today. I swear these dogs smell the money in the bank account (which is shrinking quickly between Critter, chili and her this month)

she is ok...it was in deep so shes on antibiotics. Also still no official diagnosis on her ataxia. We did rule a few things out in the xrays. Oh and there not only no eardrum in her left ear...theres no canal either. I really pick the winners eh?

Iam emotionally drained.
