yeah, I always add it to this thread.

I can't really blame them, I was in the hospital four days, then I get home and barely interact with them while I recover for two weeks, then I go to TN for four days...Iam sure thats the issue.

Shame on you for ignoring them like that. I think if I was your dog right now I would poop in your shoe.

lol, don't say that too loud...they might try it at this point

ironically, Chili has responded to my absence wonderfully (knock on wood) and hes the one I was worried about developing SA.

Tippy on the other hand, who has SA, but it was very controlled, has begun to scream again when I leave like she did when I first got her. Being home a month and then going back to work hasn't sat well with her.

You are good at working with dogs. No worries and just continue to work with them. I have faith in you. No forget what I said. I wouldn't want anyone to think I can be nice.

Crio I am so sorry. I hope you and Kev are able to come to an agreement, its tough.

As for Tippy, do you think any of this could be seizures? I am going to post this article but dont know if I am doing it right so I apologize if I am not supposed to do this. We think this is what Glacier was going through when he was acting funny and hiding and having muscle tremors. I am sure your vet would know if this is what it was for Critter but maybe Tippy is going through something different?

ah....I forgot about all your absence in the home. It could be it! Especially for critter! If she just got overwhelmed with everything she could need time to get back on schedule

interesting link, I hadn't even considered a medical cause for Tippy. Its hard to say with her since she already twitches due to the neuro issues.

I think Iam going to take Tippy into the vet this week, she hasn't had an exam in over year and so far no vet has been able to give me an answer as to whats wrong with her legs...

You dont think she ever had distemper?

I found the seizure stuff interesting. Explains a lot in some situation. Vet mentioned it and also mentioned that if it never happens again there is no reason for concern.

aww crio i'm sorry to hear this... your poor broken group

well, i'm sure that if anyone can get them where they need to go it is you...
i'm sure that you are as discombobulated as they are after such a big change in your routine, and will start to feel a bit better once you can get back into it for a bit longer...

pretty cool that chili did well during this, that must be a bit of a relief.

pawz, that is a very interesting article, thanks for posting it...
