Ares is not doing well....in fact everyday is worse

We stopped chemotherapy for a few days to see how he goes cause he is not eating. The vet will make some research about another med (I have to ask the name again...keep forgetting it) and if it's good we'll go with that.

I have to say that I'm not very happy with his condition and planning to visit a clinic in London maybe next week and see other vets there.

Thank you!!

I don't understand that before we knew he was ill the only indication that something was wrong was in his foot. If it wasn't my father I would have thought that it was just an injury from his previous life. I mean...ok I know that chemotherapy makes you weak but he seemed so strong before all these! I guess the surgery and chemotherapy along with him being underweight was too much??

Do you know if he can fight it without chemotherapy??

Some news from the vet

There is some interesting and potentially promising new research being done with the drug Artemisinin and dogs with bone cancer. He will learn more about it and see if we can use it. We stopped chemotherapy as I said and I decided to have a surgery loosing the one leg with the tumor. What do you think? Of course I'll proceed to this if it hasn't spread too much and so will help him.

Now I'm trying to find a clinic where we can replace his leg with a mechanical one.
I don't know what is best for him...his almost 10 y/o

so they want to amputate now?

Not familiar with this stuff to much, my inlaws put a dog through Chemo, because the cancer wasn't operable...bought her like 3 months.

I'm not sure yet but if the cancer has spread too much it won't be much help. He seems to be in a lot of pain!
