I never clip my guys weewee hair but have done it when grooming. I would wash it and dry it well next time and see if that helps my concern always was getting the hair in his...uh...part? So make sure you brush the hair off after you do trim it

I do it when I shave his sanitary area- a bit around the bum, a couple inches up from his weenie and of course a little snip of the weenie hairs themselves. Otherwise my white dog would be yellow. >.<

Yeah, my dog is white too, so maybe that makes it more noticeable? hahah

I suppose humans have to trim some too in that region...If I didn't trim (or wipe), it would get pretty saturated with urine too. It can't be comfortable...

I had to trim my dog's wee hair when we first got him, boyfriend laughed at me. He's not long-haired or anything, he just seemed to have excessive hair at the tip. Very weird on a short-haired dog. I did it once or twice and it hasn't grown back, I don't know if that's a good thing or not but I couldn't stand his little dangle getting pee everywhere. Things are a lot cleaner now and he doesn't rub dried pee on everything. We're all much happier that way

I do it daily. Its a sanitary trim, although I never use sciccors, I use the clippers while cleanning up that area.

I have no problem using scissors but he's used to us messing with him when he's asleep and once he's out, he's OUT. I can't see him being one of those dogs who wakes up the owners because the house is on fire. From around 7:30 pm to 10 am he's dead to the world.

Hey that is a great deal! I would love it if some of that could rub off on my puppy...
