Yup-be consistent. Every day take a wet tissue or cloth and wipe the corners of the eye. You aren't going to be able to get rid of stains quickly but you can prevent them. Wipe every day and a stain won't build up-and an old stain will go away

I'm totally cooky about eye boogers so this is my forte

depends on the cause...if the dogs actual ducts are too small it can be really hard to fix...som' people swear that only letting the dog drink distilled water works...

There is a product called "angel eyes" that cure it internally.

there might be a eye drop your vet can recommend if your dog has an eye issue possibley.

Ive seen the products like angel eyes in magazines too but dont know about them unfortunately, good luck!

I heard a rumor (around Petsmart) saying that dog food that contains wheat causes the problem. So try wheat-free food maybe? But a white Shitzu, my Yorkies' playmate, has been on Angle Eyes for a while and the owner said it worked.

hi, i have a lhasa, and she has stinky "eye boogers" im not sure if thats normal. or what it should smell like. i bathe her only once a week, and she goes to the groomers maybe once a month, so it only gets bad at the end of the week. just wondering, what should the tears smell like? and is it normal that they smell bad?
thanks!
