Patterdale fur....help!

Well, Shes a PUREBRED patterdale terrier, ALOT of people haven't heard of them...so when I 'add a dog' I have to call her mixed.

She has rough but curlyish hair, and moults alot...We used to take her to the groomers, but moved a tad to far away, so are buying brush sets ect until its really necessary for her

Shes good, she sits in the bath for HOURS when you bath her, wont move her face if you put water on it, she's perfect

So...and tips?

i was just looking at pics, and they do have the type of hair that i think needs hand stripping...and is generally low maintenance otherwise...ie not many bathes, and brushing breaks it and makes it fall out....

Information on Grooming and Care of the Patterdale Terrier Dog Breed
The Patterdale Terrier requires weekly care and grooming. All dog breeds require a certain amount of grooming and care is necessary to keep dogs and puppies looking at their best. Grooming consists of not only brushing out the coat and bathing but also giving attention to the eyes, teeth, ears, feet and nails. A regular routine also ensures that any potential health problems are identified as quickly as possible, especially important in puppies and older Patterdale Terrier dogs.

I would not think weekly grooming but maybe a simple brush over.
