My Papillon sheds moderately. There are some white hairs on our floor, in the carpet, on our clothes and stuff but the house isn't covered with hair.

Quite a bit and their not even that old yet, i brush them everyday!
Their coats are still changing, my longer coated Siberian husky doesn't loose as much as my shorter coated!

Can't wait until they blow their coat for the first time ha ha!

I bought the furminator for my GSD even before I got her home and I LOVE it. I to bought it somewhere on the web that was alot cheaper. Also started feeding a different food that is a really good food and she is hardly shedding a bit I run my hand down her back every day to see if she needs the furminator and I was surprized at the difference this made wish I had changed sooner. For some reason I can only blame on old age I can't rember the name of the food. It has Vension and Bison in and comes from Central Tractor. Wild something?

I love both GSD's and St. Bernard. I've only known, personally, one St. Bernard and he was AWESOME! I loved him to pieces! I'm sure you do love him, thetotally worth hair is it!
What is funny is my Husband is a nondog lover and I walk around with hair(dog) on and he makes snide comments and I just smile and say it was worth it I love my GSD.

I believe you're talking about Taste of the Wild.

Never. There is no such thing as non-shedding dogs because even the "non-shedding" breeds shed, but I honestly cannot remember last time that my dog left hair behind. I have a little maltese.

Same thing here. I couldn't find one if I tried. Not all long haired dogs are the same though.. My girls are lhasa and lhasa/bichon, and don't seem to shed at all, yet every once and a while we get a lhasa/shih tzu/long-haired-whatever in at work (the humane society) that sheds like crazy!
