My Golden Mix, Nikki, sheds a ton over the course of the year. Normally I take her outside to brush off all that loose fur and when I am finished, there are piles upon piles of it. I swear I can make a few small dogs with all the spare fur kicking around.

It was a steal. I got like five of them. hahah.
They are my favorite dog brush. These are like $20 at Wal-Mart if all else fails and you can't find them anywhere else. Still way cheaper than the furminator. http://www.bamboopet.com/products/detail/dog/1/1/810262

Holy crap, Bo (my boxer) sheds ALOOOOT!
I have tried everything but all I can really do that helps is vacuum alot. Vacuum the furniture, I have even vacuumed Bo! He hates it but lets me!! lol
I'll take the furniture attachment and roll it over his back and belly. He pins his ears back and looks at me like I'm killin him but doesn't try to move! If I start vacuuming the carpet though...thats a whole nother story...I have teeth marks on my vacuum from him.
I'll have to snap a video and post it on here. FUNNIEST thing ever!!

Our biggest issue with Bo is drool... ugh!!

the collar is a cool idea, but you have to pull on it kind of hard to get the handle up and crios said the the handle breaks pretty easily...
