Last I was in touch with Marshalls was ten years ago re a guarantee and replacement for a ferret that had to have teeth pulled....canines very much maloccluded and causing damage....ANYWAY. Used to be one dot meant first shot, second dot meant fixed. Other ferret farms tattoo also, but different systems.

Also, some rabbit shows won't let you show without a tat. And, as a side note I have known experienced rabbit people (in it for 20 and 30 yrs) that lost bunnies while tattooing them as they threw a fit and broke their own backs or simply damaged nerves and never moved right again.

That's an issue for sure-they can be total spaz's and break a back easily when not restrained properly. And that can come out of the blue..as is abscessing where the tattoo is placed (Abscesses in rabbits are bad, rabbits drain the fluid in the abscess unlike most other animals...and then its this rock hard ball of junk that needs surgery to remove. )

wow! amazing pics you have there. I love watching dog shows because it shows the artistic side of the pet owner. At the same time, the pets feel proud because they know their master's are also proud of them. And they receive a lot of praises, don't they?
