dog in bed

I am just wondering how many of you out there let them in bed with you?

My hb and i have given in and let our 10 month old dog up in our queen size bed with us. the dog loves to cuddle up to my hb and he's stopped biting so it's no longer a pain to have him up there.

Let? We call and beg Mikey into bed with us lol -we upgraded to a king size after we got him so he'd have enough room. He does bugger off to chew things, play and sleep in his many other spots (couches, and his 'den') but we do want him in there and maybe 8/10 he sleeps in the bed all night. But sometimes he'll bugger off and then we wake up to him at the foot of the bed.

He always sleeps in there if it's just one of us-picky guy

Oh and he forbids tossing and turning. If I'm having trouble sleeping he growls when I roll-and eventually gives the big sigh and leaves me Right now hes in my spot sleeping beside my boyfriend-guaranteed when I go to bed he'll leave

Well I would let all the dogs to sleep in my bed but Emmy (a JRT) has a another opinion...lol!...she will only let Liza to sleep there and of course Ebony (the leader ).

Emmy is sleeping every night on my pillow over my head chewing my hair !
If any other dog try to sleep in my bed she waits for it to lay and then she goes and walk over it and the dog goes to the dogs room lol! She will allow Liza to sleep there but if Liza is on the bed Emmy will come and sleep with her nose touching mine!...and in the morning she bites my nose to wake me up!!

Rascal sleeps with us. Scotty is too hot. He lays in one spot for a bit and then has to get up and move to another cooler spot. This goes on all night. Tigger can't find her "spot" on our bed. She goes in circles about a million times. I can't deal with that. She's happy on the floor and several spots picked out for good sleeping.

Sassy has always slept with our oldest son since she was 4 months old.

Star is my personal heater so he sleeps with me

Clyde we tried to let him on the bed but it caused alot of problems so he has a doggie bed in our room on my side.

My fullsized bed is not big enough for 2 people and a 70lb dog but sometimes she does sleep with us the rule was when both of us are she is not allowed on and if only one of us is on she is allowed up and I do kick her off a lot, but not always. she also is terribly spoiled (as is probably every dog on here LOL) and has an air mattress that is 3/4th's of the way deflated with a sheet over it, a pillow (with the matching cover to the sheet) a matching human quilt (to the sheet and pillow cover it- they are actually the same one's in Alba's avatar pic!), dog blanket and jungle/tiger printed human comforter all piled on the air mattress if she wants to sleep there or is we tell her to go to her "place" (the air matress has a hole in it and was my BF's before we moved into this house :P)

I have a way to housebreak and baby any new pups by letting them sleep with us. No whining, mom gets to sleep and I tend to wake up if they get to wandering around to go potty.
Usually they wean of this, especially in the heat of the summer. But they tend to regress to sleeping with us in the cold weather (like now) . Especially the whimps and littlest get up on the bed. So right now....we have two 20# cats, four small dogs (12-4#Brussels Griffon, mixes and poo) and eventually the 100# rhodesian ridgeback (whimp) sneaks in. If we hear him coming we send him back to his boy, my 17yo son's bed. Once I get up he comes in to our bed anyway and takes my place.
The third cat sleeps with my daughter, and cusses her out if she is not in bed when he thinks she ought be.
The two 10yo Border Collies sleep crated, in order to give the cats( and the dogs own little psychys) a reprieve and because they have never liked being on the bed when people are actually in it. And the two 18#mixes boy dogs likewise, that started preneutering when they were not entirely willing to sleep when on the bed. Besides there is only so much room.

My 110 pound Collie hops into bed with me. So does our little Pom mix and my 17yo cat.

Ironically, it's the 7 pound cat that takes up most of the queen-sized bed. How? I have no idea.

Thankfully I have a KING sized bed, and SADLY (lol) I sleep alone..So all 3 of the dog babes are usually with me. Sometimes Rally will sleep UNDER the bed (He has done that most of his life) but the shih-tzu babies always have to sleep with me on the bed. Usually Princess Payslee finds a Pillow to sleep on, and Sawyer burrows on the top layer of covers. Even if I go home to my mom's house (full sized bed) all three of those furry little bodies are all in bed with me!! I have to say though, I get a lot of comfort knowing the are all comfy with mommy and sleeping away!
