Baby Wipes for Dogs

I wanted to share a suggestion. I take my dog to the dog park every morning for socialization (we go very early, because I don't like when there are lots of dogs/people). Lately, it has been quite muddy and she gets really dirty every day. I don't have the time to bathe her before work every day, and I also don't think it is good to wash your dog that often.

I have seen many "bath wipes" for dogs at local pet stores, and they work well, but they are quite expensive.

So, here is my suggestion: baby wipes! My dog is about 45 lbs, and it takes two wipes for me to clean her off in the morning. I bought a box of 100 for $3 at CVS. The ingredients were very similar to the ones in the pet store brand (I got hypoallergenic, "all natural" Huggies) - there were just four per $16 package. I asked my vet if any of the ingredients in the baby wipes I bought could be harmful, and he said that they were fine.

Pet care can get pricey, so I just really love when I find ways to save money and keep my dog looking nice at the same time, and I wanted to share with the dog community. Of course, check with your vet before using anything, but this tip has been working for me, with no ill effects.

I just use a towel that use be washed when it get dirty. I am not a big fan
using any kind of wipes as I an trying to be careful about not creating more trash that end up in a landfill. My city when though 9 years of Hell with our landfill but this is another story.

I used baby wipes too. they are cheap and work great if they need alittle freshening or after a play session.
