Toys for Blind Dog?

Anyone have a blind dog or know of any great toys for blind dogs? I'm sure anything with a sound would go over well, but just wanted to put feelers out there if anyone knew something fabulous.

What about the Jolly Pets scented stuff? They make scented balls, scented "kongs".. I think Target has a strawberry "kong" that is scented. It might help the dog to sniff out their toys?

I just bought an interactive sound initiated ball that has a recycled tire around it; However, it really made my houla angry as it "growled and roared" as one of the sounds, it also had a cat meowing (bad news), a rooster, a cow, a horse and more...she treated it like prey and wanted to rip it to shreds...so sound activated maybe not such a great toy, lol I have never heard her growl back at a toy before we got this thing, we put it up. I think maybe a "companion" dog would be wonderful if this dog doesn't have one yet, one that is nurturing with a sweet disposition...

pkelley:
lol why?
I know next to nothing about most of the more serious issues
I got the links above from my good friend Mr. Google... lol

But I am so glad im on DF cause of people like you and Holly who are so knowledgeable and caring enough to spend their time helping others and their dogs.

You all have made a big difference in mine and Niko's life (first dog), least I can do is a couple google searches. I dont know how I could ever repay Holly for all of her help. I can try but I know im doomed to fail in my efforts there. Holly is just too awesome.

Because you do the extra work to try to get answers to help people out AmandaB!!!
I am not so knowledgeable about training, health, etc.! That's Holly, Tess, KMES, SH, and all the other pros on the site! It is amazing the amount of information and the kindness everyone shows on this site...I just try to encourage as much as possible, and like you, google my fingers off!!!

How about a whole boatload of cheap tennis balls and several flavored extracts?

Not very fabulous LOL but it could be fun. make it a game. Find the mint ball! Find the banana ball! Find the vanilla ball!

Yea, I like Google...
But Holly and Tess are better.

I try my best, I feel like I owe it to people like Holly and the DF to help in any way I can (which I usually cant really) since they have helped me so much.

The DF is my sanctuary since none of my family/friends understand the bond between me and Niko and think im "unbalanced" and need to spend more time with people. Which I DO, but i still prefer Niko company to most people... except my sister, she rocks, ok its a tie... but Niko does have a longer nose that is sticking out in front.... hmmm where is the Photo Finish... :P

Ok sorry no more hijacking of Holly's thread... lol

awp good idea I found this on Youtube:
