Default TOTW -- phos/calc levels?

well, i had layla on innova for quite some time up until my local supply stopped carrying it. i tried her on wellness super5healthmixcrap and she's still very gassy and pooping larger than ever. she's rather itchy as well and i'd rather eliminate grains and seeing if that helps before going nutso with protein sources.

layla is a 7 month golden retriever and i normally am on the "don't go grain free until your dog is a year!" junk. however, i heard that pacific stream has 'all right' calc/phos ratios.

sadly, i cannot find this information anywhere other than second hand info or on their site. does anyone know before i have to call?

thanks!

I believe calcium/phosphorus has to be 2:1
Here ya go

Calcium & Phosphorous in Dogs* - Chinaroad Lowchens of Australia -
This one says 1.2 to 1 Calcium:Phosphorus

Calcium In Dogs Diet | YourDogsDiet.com
And this one says 1 or 2 parts Calcium to 1 part Phosphorus.

Anyways you don't have to look for a ratio just check what they have.
So your talking about pacific stream, taste of the wild right?
Taste of the Wild : Products : Dogs : Pacific Stream Canine Formula

Oh your right! Sadly they do not list calcium or phosphorus. Yeah I'd call. If they don't know the ratio just get the %'s and you can figure it out from there

I actually emailed them about this last week...

Wetlands: 2.1% Calcium, 1.4% Phosphorus, 28.2% Carbohydrates
High Prairie: 2.1% Calcium, 1.4% Phosphorus, 27.9% Carbohydrates
Pacific Stream: 1.9% Calcium, 1.1% Phosphorus, 38.7% Carbohydrates
