Yeah, I was actually wondering what it's supposed to mean lol
Everyone has different ideas about food. I trust Science Diet and Prescription Diet and Medi-Cal from results I've seen both in vet practices (I admit I'Ve been out of the field for nearly 10 years...) and with my own pets. Staying off the vet experience, I can say that my parent's dog has severe food allergies and Science Diet is the only food we got him to actually eat and not vomit or pass as liquid stool. He gained some weight (in a good way, poor pup!) and got more active and so far has lived a long and healthy life (he nears 12.) It's all up to the pet parent. I eat meat, I find "bio" labels hype-ish and too expensive and it's the first time I hear about no-grain diets, except when people talk about cooking their pet food themselves, which I shall never do. It's kibbles and the occasional treat for my pet family.
Still don't know what "holistic" means though!
