I wish I could feed Ziwi Peak because it's an amazing food but it's out of my price range

I feel like I remember @jclark343 saying that she feeds Fromm so maybe she can give you some feedback on that.
So I kind crossed Earthborn Holistics off my list because I just thought it wouldn't be as good as Orijen as far as carbs, since they are the lowest. But Earthborn Holistics Primitive Natural in particular is almost identical to Orijen. I may try that one next time around Price point is way better and you can get a bit bigger bag! Thanks for mentioning that brand.

@Aspen726 - I haven't yet. I'm debating between trying Ziwipeak and dealing with the price costs, or going with Orijen/Acana in rotation.

I have been thinking of switching my training treats to Ziwipeak. I can't afford to feed it as a primary food but it's such a great food. Aspen could certainly use the calories haha

Tell me about it. Levi is skin and bones and all I do is feed him. Unlike his poor sister, who gets chunky easily.

Is it bad that I'm jealous of my dog's metabolism? Haha

Well, please let me know what you decide I like hearing reviews on different foods from people I 'know'.

I use Ziwi peak as training treats, I think its a bit more affordable than buying those smaller bags of dehydrated "treats". I did get a bag of the EH Primitive Natural, my dogs aren't picky in the least so they love it, we will see how it goes

And for $90 a bag, I better be getting good quality food.

I haven't heard anything negative about Acana, and they've always been a highly recommended food. Definitely one I would look at if I needed to change.

So my suggestion would be Fromm and Acana.
Half true - they opened a second plant in Kentucky for the American market (and changes their American recipes since their thing is using regional food). Acana is also made by champion so their recipes would have changed as well.

Canada, Europe, and East Asia still gets the same stuff made in Canada - so Shandula would have the good old version.

This is the release about it - http://www.championpetfoods.com/wp-c...kyThinkFAQ.pdf

Lucky! I've heard there are a lot of complaints about the American stuff (makes sense since the reviews are from Chewy which only distributes in America).

Great, Another reason I want to move to Canada
