eggs for 8 month old pug????

hi..donut is now 8 months old. i feed him his dog food twice a day and 2 eggs (cooked) as the third diet.
he loves eating eggs. at times i substitute his dog food with baby food n he likes that too. but he gives me a lot of trouble while eating his dog food. he just smells it and runs away. at times i have to keep sitting there till he doesnt finish his food.
could u tell me how many eggs maximum can i give him in a day?
also, are rice and vegetables a good one time meal?

all of the things you listed are foods that are okay to feed a dog, but none of them are complete diets... meaning that if you plan to make entire meals out of those things, your dog may end up missing out on important nutrients... i would recommend a good quality kibble and then you could mix the other stuff in with it and feed all together... he'll probably be more interested in the kibble that way... i am not sure of the quantity you would want to feed.
if you would like to feed a homemade diet, then you have to make sure it is nutritionally balanced... i feed a kibble base and mix other stuff in...

Mikey will have to confirm (or deny!) this...but I have read about feeding to many eggs contributing to b vitamin deficiency...or som'thing like that...tho I can't remember if it was raw or cooked that was the problem.

Yeah, the first one is very long..

long story short is that eggs both contain b12 and also contain substances that BLOCK its absorbtion.

I feed eggs, the dogs get about 5-10 or so a week (for five dogs) but if I have a heavy week where they get ALOT of eggs...I try to take a week off.

i will occasionally give my dogs eggs simply because it's very good for their coat and they love them. maybe 2x a week because they are high in fat.

if your pup isn't into the kibble, maybe you could try mixing in some low-fat yogurt. i know it's better for them on a daily rate as opposed to eggs and it also coaxes them into eating their kibble.
