I wouldnt put dog clothes on Daisy or Prince

This is a discussion on I wouldnt put dog clothes on Daisy or Prince within the Dog Clothes forums, part of the Keeping and Caring for Dogs category; I was thinking about putting a bib on betty. I am getting tired of following her around with a drool rag....

Well, yes I absolutly dont mind dogs in winters and dogs that have to wear clothes to keep them warm. But just the idea of my dogs in coats, boots kinda backs me off.Yeah,i might put christmas hats on them too they look adorable.Once I tried putting on my uncles white shirt and glasses and i nearly peed my pants!
I firmly believe if you make a big fuss your dog will love wearing clothes-not all the time, not frufru in a pink purse always dressed up-but Mandy LOVES getting to wear a hoody-we tell her she looks SO COOL and she gets a kick out of it

Why a rag? Just let her use your pants and the carpet!

You obviously have never seen real hound drool. It is like glue, and Betty's can hang up to a foot before it drops or she shakes it off. I have to physically pull the rag apart when it is used and I mistakenly fold it up.

I'd never humiliate my dogs by dressing them up!

Unless it was during the Playoffs

Hmmmmm did anyone see this?

Winter jacket-totally ok when it's 47 below freezing out without windchill-and inside for a photoshoot

It's also ok for halloween hehe

Mischief, now that's cute! I love his look...so excited he is! NOT!

I'll put an Arkansas Razorback shirt on Radar when they get well into the Playoffs. Radar is glad that they are such a bad team, I'm sure. LOL! I'm also a New Orlean's Saints fan too though. I'll bet I can find a cute Black and Gold outfit for him before the season starts again.

Thanks Dustie, that's my little snaggle toothed Munchkin girl---she was the only one who actually fit into all the 'outfits' so she uummm volunteered, ya that's it....lol
My husband is a huge Razerbacks fan because he lived in AR for most of his life. He is also a big Cowboys fan, much to Munchkin's dismay....heheheh

Well...some shorthaired dogs need coats and jumpers for the winter.I don't think they need really tight clothes..do we like to wear tight clothes?I don't think it is fair for dogs to wear tight clothes but loose and comfy ones are ok!
