Thumbs down I wouldnt put dog clothes on Daisy or Prince

I have nothing wrong with dog clothes but i would not put it on one of my dogs.some dogs might live wearing tight clothes but most dont like it.a girl i know shoves clothes on her yorkie terrier and whenevr i see him in them he cannot move.i call him and the way he walks seems uncomfortable.prince and daisy are german sheps i know but they even hate hairbands and other stuff.i think that dogs would be the same old GREAT friends without clothes!they rock!

I don't put clothes on Kelsey but that is because she is large and it is hard to find clothes that fit her. I think doggies look cute in clothes as long as they are comfortable with it. There was a dog at the park the other with a rain coat which originally I thought was going a bit far. But how nice it must be to have a dry dog when you get home. I leave a towel by the front door for Kelsey but her fur is so thick she stays wet for quite awhile.

I will put my tshirts on my dog if she has an injury or something i dont want her to lick and I put dog booties and a dog coat my mom made for her and like to mess around with her like that if there is a specific reason to (i.e. like i wanted to get or make a raincoat for her cus she hates the rain). she looks miserable when I dress her up in random things at 1st but then gets used to the stuff pretty quick and is okay. Sometimes I think people go overboard with dressing up their dogs in silly things like tutus or dog "slippers", pjs etc. and now recently SNUGGIES! ugh, that poor dog in the commercial looks tortured :P i can understand if the dog is a little one who gets cold easily or any size dog who has a short coat so needs a shirt or something to keep warm though.

A lot of short haired dogs or little dogs do need jackets and stuff in the winter.

Your friend should better size her doggie clothes!! when they are too small that's no good

<<<-I obviously have dressed my dog up for special occaisions. I made such a big fuss when I put stuff on him he loves the attention and doesn't seem to mind wearing clothes at all (that fit! lol).

Otto wears his "Chimney Inspector" hat for Christmas. And people love it, they stop their cars and wave at him, say hi to him, etc.

He prefers not to wear it, but has to please his fans!

The big dog clothes are hard to find...and yeah, they don't ever fit right.

the best thing i have found dog clothing wise are knitted sweaters...they stretch and always seem to fit...I have a number of them...once they stretch out you wash them and they are back to normal

Big dog clothes are available and I can buy them for resale. But generally I don't because the big dog people seem to not buy dog clothing nearly as much as the little dog people.

I did pick up a few coats in a little bit bigger sizes because some of the dogs need a little extra warmth when they go outside.

Scotty, my sheltie, LOVES to lay on the deck outside. Rain, cold, he doesn't care. He just LOVES to lay there. Last year he got a cold and the vet said it was probably from going in and out with the temp changes. He'll run in and out like a little kid too.

So I got him a coat. A sheltie with a coat. How crazy is that?

Well due to his allergies, the hair on his sides and back is VERY VERY thin. You can see skin. So if I'm going to let him stay out very long, he has to put his coat on. He has a little mat that he lays on to keep the cold from coming up between the boards of the deck and then he has his coat. He's a happy camper!

Yes they are hard to find!!

But it's getting easier. I had to pass on by some beautiful large jackets in petsmart tonight (just get puppy pads ...just get puppy pads....this dog toy benefits charity...fine-that and puppy pads THATS IT! )

In some lines Mikey fits a large rather then an extra large. His costume was made for a toddler (of the human variety) but we modified it with only an extra three inches of fabric. He's really a big dog with short legs though He can wear my tshirts too but umn...he gets pee on them (They are OLD !!! no worries I'm not wearing them after I let Mikey wear them heheheh)
