Could I make this?

You think I could make a Easy Walk type harness?

We went to PetSmart last week (maybe the week before) to return the Easy Walk (Large) we had and get a Med/Large (the tweener size made for dogs like Tasha). Well, they don't sale the tweener size, but the did have a medium. I went ahead and exchanged it, and when I got in the car and opened it I realized that there was no way (IN THE WORLD) that it was going to fit her. Sooo, I took it back and got my $25 back.

Anyways, I was wondering if it was possible to just sort of make one???

Oh, and we haven't been able to really practice our heeling cause it's cold and snowy outside. Quite miserable weather... well, Tasha wouldn't agree, she loves it! :P

You could-but it's not going to be strong enough and could break-especially along seems and buckles. You would also need to ensure clasps and buckels are rated for a certain weight-not her weight but her weight plus oomph. I'd say two hundred pounds at LEAST -and then again-your going to need to buy nylon thats rated, and use thread that's rated, and you probably would need an industrial sewing machine-most have a hard time doing denim so nylon rated for pull would not work.

Do you have a paypal account? You could probably get it on ebay?

Haha, I don't have a credit/debit card! My mom does though, and I doubt she would use it. :P

i think it would be WAAAY easier to just alter one thats too big than to try and make one.

We drove to Florida for vacation over the summer and we stopped at an outlet store right off the freeway I think it was in NC and I think it was called JRs. They had Easywalks for $4!! but they were all medium and at the time we just had Kelsey and she wears a large. I would have bought some had I known we were getting Kimber.
