Any ideas for my harness?

Tasha had this harness for a while but the girth part was WAY too big on her. So it sat on a shelf for no more than a month. I went to put it on her last night and it's 4+ inches too short! Sooo, now I'm a little bummed, lol. I really like the built in handle! I'm trying to decide if I should butcher it and keep the collar or what should I do with it?

The collar doesn't have a place to connect a leash though...

Here's a pic:

Thats a cool harness.

This similar to what I use when tracking.

And I use an basic H style harness for walks/trips in the car.

That's neat

I've never seen one exactly like that before.

I LOVE the harness we have

The breast plate is thick-so it doesn't cut into his chest if he's pulling

i'd say cut it off and use the collar part...
i have that in a collar btw, convenient, but i feel like you have to pull kinda hard on the handle
you could just take the d ring off the harness part and put it on the collar to attach the leash too... otherwise, pass it on to someone who has a dog it will fit...

I found this one that looked pretty cool. I only have small dogs, so I apologize if this isn't what you are looking for, but I have found some of the best harness options on Overstock. com. They have them for big dogs, small dogs, and all dogs in between, so I'm including the link for you..
