LOL! I don't know how it happened but I totally missed this thread!

All of the dogs (except Roxy), big or small, that we have owned have found us. We never really sought them out. The right dogs just seem to come to us at the right times.

Currently I have 1 pug (Roxy), 2 pekingese (Pearl and LeRoy), and 1 Miniature Pinscher (Penny).

If it is small with a flat face I just can't resist!
I love the outgoing and affectionate nature of a pug. I also like that they are really quite sporty and game for just about anything!
I like that pekes are a bit more independent, but yet they form such strong bonds with their owner. They are such great little dogs.
And as far as min pins go... well they are just plain awesome! Some may think I am nuts, but I love a min pin's energy, curiousity, feistiness, drive, and intelligence. I like that you never know what they are going to do next!

I love how you say this, as it is the case for 4 of my 6 dogs lol.

We have 2 chihuahuas because my bf grew up with only chihuahuas and loves them. We got a lab/border collie mix by somewhat of an accident (he was supposed to come out PB lab lol) but my aunt wanted to give me a puppy as a gift and of course I accepted. Peyton is just a heinz 57 who came from Mexico and my heart just skipped a beat when I saw him alone and sad with the other pups but suddenly perked when I walked by. Glacier, well I always wanted a pit bull as I feel they are too misunderstood and was hoping for a well behaved one, guess I totally lucked out! Chunk came to us because his mother was HBC and his "owner" was really just a guy who threw food out and poured some water in a bowl in his junk yard.

So in the end...most of these dogs were not picked specifically b/c of their breed except for 1 chi and Our pit
