What a pretty pekingese

What breeds have people mistaken your dogs for?

Critter is apparently a Pekingese. I had two people in two days comment on what a pretty pekingese she is. Never before and never after.

Scooter was a fox or a coyote. Constantly. OMG is he mixed with fox???? Seriously people. No. Take a biology class. I had one guy insist he was going to buy my dog from me because he liked that he looked like a coyote. hmmmm. No to you too.

The others haven't been given such honors yet...Iam still waiting tho.

People ALWAYS say tegan is a daschund mix!!! Umm... he's a purebred corgi! Just because he's long doesn't mean he's a "weiner dog!"

Hahah Mandy-the barely husky mix (maybe shepherd) is always called a wolf-not a wolf cross....a freaking wolf.

She has floppy ears and a collar on!!

*eye roll eye roll* course these are probably the same people who can't figure out how to park between lines or how to work a four way stop, make change etc. etc.

Someone asked me if my blue merle Aussie, Kitty, was a Dalmatian mix. -.-
Molly was a "Boston terrier" but was actually a black and white pitbull.
Worst of all, Riot was mistaken for a Doberman. Seriously? He's a red tri Aussie mix. Fluffy, short, nothing about him resembles a dobie!

This thread reminded me of a story my boss told me. She was in the pet store and a lady told her. "What a nice dog thing you have?" lol, you might have to see this poor dog to get it. The best comparison I can come up with is that he looks like Animal from the muppets. LMAO

Someone told me my Doberman wasn't full blooded because she was red and not the "real" color.
