What is my dogs breed?

So a friend of my moms witnessed someone toss this little thing out the car door and drive off in a busy parking lot in a shopping plaza. She scooped her up and was going to bring her to the shelter but I took her in. She was tiny and cried a lot when she was alone or didn't see me when we first got her. She was tiny but it now starting to grow a little but she is still so small. She looks to me like a black lab mix but she looks like she may be a little too small for a black lab. 8 have a Labrador retriever that we rescued when he was 10 weeks but he was already so much bigger then she is. Ow. Anyone have any ideas what she might be or how big she might get.

I know it breaks my heart.. she is a little feisty and has sharp puppy teeth so I'm assuming they just thought she was cute and didn't think about the fact that puppies nip and chew things and they need to be potty trained as well as all other training plus vet bills and when they realized how hard it is to own a puppy they didn't want to anymore. Drives me crazy, do your homework before getting an animal.

Some people need a beating. Good on you for taking the pup in.

The head and ears almost look pinscher, but the legs are too big. Are the paws by chance webbed?

Am I imagining things or did the cutie get lighter paws and jaw?

Hi Nikki330

I'd guess lab mix as well but no idea what the mix could be. Maybe it will become more identifiable as she gets older.

She's certainly a gorgeous pup though, so glad you and your mum were able and good hearted enough to take her in.

Let us know how she gets on. What did you name her?

She is absolutely precious! I love her perked ears! She's turning into quite the looker (although she was gorgeous right when you rescued her as well).

I am so thankful that you were able to rescue her. So glad this girl now has a happy ending! And a big brother, too! They are too adorable together. And yes, please tell us her name!
