I'd have to say mutts are my favorite. I know they're not a breed but I love them anyway
They're like those little filled chocolates. You never know what is going to come out but you know it'll be good (unless of course it is a strawberry or a nut; who puts a nasty old nut in gourmet candy?)
My favorite breed breed would have to be a Labrador. I come from a hardcore big dog family. My grandparents used to have a lab and now my cousin has one as do I. I love their personalities, their big bear size and just how happy go lucky they are and how they get around water (you'd think it was El Dorado by the way the go on about it).
I also like German Shorthaired Pointers, Golden Retrievers and German Shepherds. The first two I like because they are sweet, lovable, and just plain awesome in my opinion (who doesn't love watching a dog carrying around a carrot just because she can?). I wouldn't call the GSDs I've known sweet but they were kind of reserved like me and took their time getting to know me so I felt like they liked me because they wanted to not because they had to. And they're so big and hairy and smart
My neighbor had one that was a police dog and he was awesome. He's retired now after he got attacked on the job (another dog was on the property and attacked him, breaking his leg
).
