Very favorite is Australian Shepherds, specifically the Miniatures

Alaskan Malamutes

Leonbergers

Bernese Mountain Dogs (only one on the list I don't own (although my two leos are only half leo... but I know purebred leos owned by friends) but I have met several

There are MANY other breeds I really love, but those are the top ones

All time fave:
German Shephards.

But, I LOVE:
Boxers
Pit Bulls
Mastiffs.

We used to breed Siberian Huskies and they were wonderful dogs. Not sure if I'd ever go back though. Little bit too much prey drive with my little horses around.
I had 3/4 Wolf, 1/4 Husky. AMAZING dog. I'd still have him if he hadn't been stolen.

And, of course, My Chihauhau's.
LOL

Thanks, MSE.
I kept up the search for two years but never had any luck.
I just can't believe that someone even had the nerve to walk up to him because he was MASSIVE. I mean, almost 5 feet at the shoulders.
He was a good dog.

I like your name! I got a Chi named Emmett... I always call him Emmy!

Emmy came with her name (after the awards). I certainly wouldn't walk up to a huge wolfdog. I knew one in person and you can't predict how they will react unless you PERSONALLY know them. they don't always have that doggish personality. The one I met was kinda intense. I can't believe the person who owned her took her to the dog park. ALL the dogs in the dogpark, even if they hadn't met this wolf dog before, knew instinctively she was alpha-dog.

WSArabians-A lady I work with had her dog returned after almost FOUR years!! He was microchipped, and must have gotten loose from the home that had stolen him. She was dang surprised and ecstatic to get him home. It took him a few hours to realize.

Huskies are one of the most commonly stolen dog breeds
