| First off, WOW!
I cant believe how adorable this puppy is and that you found the poor little guy!
Is it a boy or girl? if I understand right, you are now in Australia??? If so, who is the dog with and are thye keeping him/her?
I am not sure, but he looks TINY and very YOUNG! Can somone help out with age here?!?!
Also, try not to give him anymore milk as milk is not good for dogs. Well..not exactly...if he is young enough to still need milk then he will need puppy formula or I think goats milk will work too.
Do you have dog food? Is there a pet store around you???
As for his/her breed, Id say a Australian shepherd or Australian shepherd Mix. A red one in color. Here is some pics of two red Australian Shepherd puppies. What do you think?? Agree with me?

| Hey,
Yeh i am keeping him. He is in pakistan, as i was on holidays there, and im from australia. But he's now on my uncles farm, he'll know how to take good care of him. I think he's currently on Goats Milk now (since my unlce had about 3 goats who gave birth while i was there and now there lactating, good timing i guess), since its a third world country and people generally dont have enough money to feed pets. But yeh sadly i had to come back to australia since my holiday was over, but now i want a dog, so really looking for the breed. He was a boy, age i wouldn't have a clue but he was pretty young and mal-nutritioned when i found him and had a lot ( i mean a lot!) of ticks. He is now clean of ticks, and much healthier. He looked about 10x cuter after i washed him. The thing was i was taking care of the puppy, and my little cousins were with the camera, so i didnt realise they hadnt taken a photo of the puppy after its wash. .
I'll try getting a photo of the puppy now 1 month on from these photos |

| Id love to see pics of him now!
And I updated my first reply if you hadn't noticed with pics of the breed I think he is. If you liked the way he,looked, I would REALLY look into Australian Shepherds as that puppy looks a LOT like one!
Here is a link about the basics on the Australian shepherd: Australian Shepherd Puppy - Australian Shepherd Dog Breed Information
That might help you a bit, and if you think that breed sounds like something youd want then you can look more into it
They are beautiful dogs, a lot of them have pretty baby blue eyes! Thats common in that breed and they come in a few different colors which are really pretty! I love the red and blue merle colors!!! |

| Ahh Cool Thanks a lot, the second pic looks quite like him.
Im getting my first puppy, after Rio ofcourse..but that was only for a really small amount of time.. So i need a puppy, who'd also be good around little kids since my mum runs a childcare ( only a few kids) from home. And i've been into cats (since i was 4 , now im 20) for quite a while, so a puppy which will get along with my new kitten. Any idea's, would the Australian (yay) shepherd be good in such situations?
thanks again. |

| Um...well actually a dog that gets along with those depends if they are raised around them. So if you were to get a Australian shepherd (or any other breed) as a puppy and raised it around children and cats and let it will grow with them, the dog SHOULD 99% of the time get along with them, or whatever it is they are raised around. So yes, if you raise them with them, the dog will learn to love them

| Well, you are not supposed to wean puppies before 8 weeks. Usually its best to wean between 8 weeks and 10 weeks. Do not get one before 8 weeks, trust me form personal experience! Not a good idea!
But it would be best to get the puppy no older than 3 months because you want it to grow up around the children/other pets as long as possible so Id say so for 8 weeks old.
I herd GREAT things about goldens! You can start looking for a dog on Pet adoption: Want a dog or cat? Adopt a pet on Petfinder if you want to adopt or craigslist classifieds: jobs, housing, personals, for sale, services, community, events, forums if you want to buy. if you dont know what those are, petfinder is a site that shelters/rescues list all the dogs/cats/pets they have for adoption so you can view them online. And craigslist is a classifieds site that people post thigns for sale on, they have a pet section, so look in there. there are ALWAYS puppies/dogs needing homes on there and they are usually VERY cheap! |

| Glad you helped the little guy, and glad your uncle is keeping him.
As for breed. I would assume he is many different breeds.
since it is Pakistan. We would need to know what (if any) breeds are very common over there? as it would be hard for us to tell you what breeds are in that puppy. Looks like many different breeds |

| wow what a cool story!
unfortunately, at that age, most puppies look very similar...I don't have a good guess for you...but he looks like many different breeds.
that was a wonderful thing you did for him. Thank you |
