i have seen 40lb PB akitas...but shibas are basically mini akitas...how big is she?

Right around 21" tall and I'm going to guess 35-40 pounds, not real big.

Too bad the pics of your Chow mix aren't there anymore, cause I finally scanned an old, old picture of our old dog I thought you'd like to see (about 16 years ago this pic is from).
He was a Chow / Akita mix and you can see how much it is like your original picture of your dog, but Kodi was about 85 pounds.
