Yes-VERY high energy dog.

Also basically any dog who has fur (instead of hair like a poodle type) is going to shed. Those with long coats or spitz types (like huskies, shiba inus etc) are going to be BIG shedders-re:brushing twice a day and still needing a pet hair vaccum-type shedding

With Shiba's it isn't even the high energy....it is the piss on you attitude. "You want me to do that? Tough"

They are clean personlly usually but shed like mad.
But to me it is like having a husky with the brain of a cat. Good mousers.

I got 2 that were puppy mill rescues a little over a month ago and LOVE them. They are energetic but very smart. Even in winter I'm brushing once a day minimum or when they get on my lap there's hair on me. To me though the personality is well worth the shedding.
