new puppy rescued from shelter.. not sure of breed

This is a discussion on new puppy rescued from shelter.. not sure of breed within the Dog Breeds forums, part of the Keeping and Caring for Dogs category; Wow, I just saw the nine weeks old, and 15lbs. I'm almost posative he has great dane in him, or a big bulldog breed....

Wow, I just saw the nine weeks old, and 15lbs. I'm almost posative he has great dane in him, or a big bulldog breed.

his name is Bentley and it seems that the great dane forum majority thinks he deff looks dane but maybe bulldog...

I definitely see American Bulldog in him...maybe mixed with another big breed. Possibly Dane..but I mostly see the Am Bulldog..

I agree with pappymom; my first thought was american bulldog. I can see the great dane in the head, though, plus it makes sense with the size. I don't see boxer at all, unless it's a very small amount.

he is sure cute! hard to tell when they are this young what they are... definitely think that a bully breed is a really good guess....but other then that you'll have to post more pics as he gets older

*hint hint* we like puppy pics anyway...

Thanks guys! he is a GREAT dog/puppy whatever breed(s) he is..
Thats what i was thinking though was his head looked like a dane but i have heard that danes are around 40 pds at 10 weeks and he is only 15 pds hmmmmm.....

i will keep you guys updated with pics via this thread
