hi there , I've not been on for ages, only just been looking through this thread today, yeah he has GSD in him, although to meet him you wouldn't think so, well apart from his massive ears

I was never able to own a puppy growing up, my parents simply wouldn't allow it. After growing up and getting married I decided it was time.
My very first puppy was a WestiePoo (West Highlands Terrier and Poodle mix) VERY loving, cute, smart, emotional but VERY VERY stubborn! I was able to train him though. Now lives with my ex-husband.

Next I had a "teacup chihuahua" or that's what I was told. I don't think that she was right though. I know he was Chihuahua for sure but I'm thinking, tho I'm no expert, that he was mixed with something. His name was Goblin. He unfortunately passed. [Hit and run]

Now my lil pup is Chihuahua mix for sure. I know the people I got him from, and no one is certain who the daddy is lol. His name is ThizzleBug.. Bug for short.

P.S. The pictures of the first two dogs were the first and only times I dressed them up. They were NOT happy about it so I stopped lol.

well I have owned a few dogs so far..I will just tell you about the ones I can remember from my childhood..

We had two black and tan coon hounds that my father hunted with when I was very young, Bo bo and Ratler

Next my aunt gave us a Pug-a wa-wa..A mix of her chi and the neighbors pug. His name was Fudge.

We also had Cha cha and Bear a pair of Chow/ blk lab puppies that my father gave to my mother for their anniversary when I was 6 years old.

When I was about 7 one of my dad's friends came over with a back seat full of puppies while my dad was at work.Of course my sister was quick to pull the biggest one out and she was ours..My dad was not happy when he got home that we now had 4 dogs but we lived in the country and he was a big time hog hunter. May Daisy was a Yellow lab/ pit bull (cur) dog. She turned out to the be the smartest and best hog dog my dad ever had in his life.. We ended up loosing her to another hog hunter that stole her out of our yard a few years later. Mae Daisy was an awesome dog and a great guard dog and protector of us kids. My dad still talks about her to this day.

After Fudge we got Skooter a Manchester terrier/ Rat Terrier . Scooter looked exactly like a miniature Rottweiler to me. He had the square head and all, he was black with tan marking like a rottweiler and he was born with a docked tail. When i used to take him for walks everone always thought I had a rott puppy. I had to explain to them that he was full grown and a terrier.

Sarah aka Sarah Lee- A 3 yr old blue chip Dalmation I begged my mom to let us rescue. SHe was an awesome dog and the first dog I considered mine, all mine and not a family owned dog.

My sister gave us a Chow Chow/ Siberian Husky male dog that she couldnt keep any more..He never accepted us as his owners and was very aggressive. He killed a chow puppy my brother had with one bite and also killed our pet squirel just the same way. He was always growling and acting aggressive towards us. We ended up having to put him down. His name was Chewy or Chewbacca

My sister had a Terrier/ maltese/ poodle mix puppy she got from our aunt named UH-OH

And the last dog we ever owned as a family growing up was a Blck lab/ greyhound mix named Belle. My parents got divorced and my dad ended up keeping her. I didn't have any other dogs til I was grown.

When I first moved into my first place my sister gave me a dog that she had adopted that she thought was going to be smaller. It was a bull terrier mix that ended up being 47lbs. His name was Little man. I had him for about a year before he got out of the fence one day while i was at work and someone picked him up and we never found him again.

A few months after we got Little Man I got a 3.5 week old 3/4 choc lab, 1/4 rednose pit from a friend of mine that had puppies. I had planned on getting one of the puppies, at the appropriete times of course but one day she called me and said they was outside and dying from worms and fleas and nobody was going to do anything about it or take them to the vet, so needless to say I rescued my pup at 3.5 weeks old and took her to the vet. She thrived and did great. One of the best dogs I ever owned. Truly an all around great dog, loved kids and every animal and dog alive. I took her everywhere with me. She was VERY VERY Smart. Her name was Kaiya.

Next was Isis- White English Bulldog- Rescue from Humane society- Advanced heartworms, treatment failed..No dog has ever made such a huge impact on me in such a short period of time..RIP..Isis was abused, overbred not fed properly and led a misserable life before the humane society rescued her. I feel good knowing that she was loved and cared for and happy the remaining months she had on earth.

Aerabella- AKA Smella Bella- Cane Corso/ American Bulldog..A great great great dog, absolute joy and love..greatly missed..The dog that turned me on to mastiff breeds

Hank-Beagle/ treeing walker- and intact 2 yr old male that we found on the verge of starvation at the creek last summer. We fostered him for many months before finding him a wonderful home where he would be able to go on weekly hunts and coon dog trials. Hank was totally immaciated when we found him and had almost givin up on life and had about a million ticks on him. Great dog.

Currently:
Tessa- Pitbul- Lab/ Mastiff--- my three favorite breeds rolled into one, what can I say. She is an absolute joy and loves everyone very much.

Jazzy- Pitbul- Rescue- Sweet docile, loves to run

Cane- Rottweiler/ Bulldog--another puppy rescue..great dog..he is right up there with Kaiya and Bella for award for the cutest puppy that every existed. He is a ham and thinks he owns the place. We love him

The dog I have always wanted to own is a pure bred Cane Corso..I think they are magnificient and one day I will have one..
