| Blue Heeler SAD STORY Quote:
Originally Posted by Administrator I've had a labrador retriever, a cocker spaniel, and a shiba inu. I loved them all, though my shiba inu shed like crazy! | Hi there,
I had all german shepherds all my life (Last one much luved and lived to be 14), with the sad exception of one Blue Heeler.....
I say sad because I was on crutches after a nasty fall dancing lead to 2 ruptured ligaments in my ankle and some idiot decided to put down a tub of ratbait, milk and bread.....whether for rats or pets I don't know.........
Walks on a leash were impossible, and all that I can say is that strickneen ratbait sends dogs CRAZY.....She went to the pound a few months after the vet/ I /saved her life, and I found that she bit somebody there and got 'put down'.........I couldn't handle her and was desperately trying to get her relocated to a farm.......
After that I'll stick with German Shepherds......At least I know the breed well....I did the responsible thing afterwards and reported the incident to hardware shops and authorities, trying to get the offending bait taken off the market TOTALLY....
SAD/ isn't it......God bless her/ not her fault.....
Currently live with a spoilt rotten/ much luved 3 year old German Shepherd...........I'm a total fanatic about the breed, hence joining your club, to 'meet' other shepherd owner/ dog lovers online...
Cheers Jewels |

| We used to have a Poodle named Coco when I was little, he was put down for biting me when I was 4, God, I hated that dog, lol
Then we had a Bullmastiff named Raziel, sweetest dog ever, he died last year.
Now I have a Boxer named Lucky, she's too crazy, lol, I'm trying to convince my mom to let me buy another puppy, a Dogue De Bordeaux, an Akita, or another Bullmastiff |

| This is what I've had or do have some more then 1 of that breed others have been mixes there of for some
Chow Chow
American Pit Bull Terrier
Boxer
German Shepherd Dog
Kangal
Rottweiler
Schnauzer
Belgian Malinois
Boerboel
Rat Terrier
Caucasian Ovcharka
Doberman
Lab (only 1 mixed, but was one of the best dogs ever!)
Cane Corso
Dalmatian
American Bulldog
Another best dog was my Husky/Shepherd mix the 1st one anyway
sure I'm forgetting some but list is long enough, some were mutts of not so identifiable origin anyway or the person only knew the mom and not the sire (b/c they were irresponsible people that didn't spay their females/keep them up when in heat) Quote:

Then we now have 2 Pomeranians and a Wired Haired Pointing Griffon. | Do you mean a Kuvasz (sounds like Ku Vash) a white large flock guardian breed? Those are very nice dogs. |
