Let me see... I'm on my fourth Irish setter. I've also had Old English Sheepdog, three golden retrievers, beagle, dalmation, pomeranians, and I also have a mix breed that could be either Australian Shepherd or German shepherd, along with rottweiler.

Harley is my official first dog he is a Golden Retriever.
When I was younger my family had a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, one of the best dogs ever. Then we had a Boxer, he was so energetic but a very fun dog!! Then when my mom got remarried my step-dad brought his Golden Retriever Abbey with him, she was an amazing dog. When she passed my family has had Goldens ever since.
I have loved the Pit Bull breed since I was a little girl. I want to eventually own Pt Bulls.

Boxers. They've been my love all my life but now that our oldest 2 of 14 years are being put to sleep, we've decided that IF we got a new puppy, it would not be a Boxer.

When I was little our first dog was a Basenji named Tussy Tuxedo, then we had a black and white setter mix named vern, a tricolor Cavalier King Charles spaniel named Kutaya. Chica, a chihuahua from a shelter and Wendall a Labrador who turned out to to much of a puller and jumper so he had to go back to his breeder.
Now we breed Chihuahuas on a small scale.

My boyfriend and I have a Pit/Lab mix but I've also lived with:

a bordercollie/flat coated retriever mix,
a german shorthair pointer/viszla mix,
a black lab,
two schnauzers,
a black lab/rottweiler mix,
a german shepherd/chow mix,
and a small-ish red fuzzy thing. I'm convinced she's a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever but we got her from a shelter at four months old as an australian shepherd mix. So who knows.

And they were all shelter dogs except the schnauzers and the black lab. We do so love our rescues
