| when i was growing up we had minature poodles, then standard poodles, when i moved out i had 2 rottweilers who were the love of my life, sadly they died through old age, was thinking of getting another but i was sick of the stigma that came with them so decided to get a german spitz mittel who is just so cheeky and we all love her to bits, will probably get another rott in the future sometime. |

| We owned a Chinese Shar Pei named Lucky for almost 10 years, got him when he was 3 years old from Rescue Operation in PA - poor dog was abandoned by his owners when they had to move from their house to the apartment in New York where pets were not allowed.
After Lucky's death, we got a CADEBO dog from Russia named Misha (Michael in Russian, also means a "baby-bear"). I picked this breed because I was looking for a dog who is big, can carry guard's duty, does not shed, and does not require so much exersise -sorry, have no time for long walks. The Cadebo dog met all my criteria, so I found a breeder in Moscow, Russia ( I am from Moscow myself) and traveled there to get my "dream dog". 2 years later we realized that these dogs are "like potato chips - cannot have just one", so I asked the breeder to find another dog not related to Misha, and travel to Moscow again to get a girlfriend for Misha. Her name is Nusha (can be translated as Anne). So we have two beautiful Cadebo dogs living in Washington DC - can have our doors open all the time - dogs perform their guard duties perfectly. They also understand commands in English and Russian - say Hello in English - will get a left paw, say Privet (Hello in Russian) - will get a right paw. We have so much fun with them. |

| I've had to many breeds, my parents had miniature pincshers and pit bulls when i was a baby (yeah scary big pit bull around a baby -.- actually my dads main dog wouldn't have hurt a fly he was a big baby of a pit bull). Had a low percentage wolf dog for 9 years, she was a stray my grandma took in and became my dog too. I've had a miniature austrailian shepherd. A long haired chihuahua. A chow / german shepherd mix , loved that dog he was another adopted stray. a yellow lab, another stray someone dumped in town we kept her for a year then found her a new home. And my 3 favorite mutts i had when i was little, a schnazer mix, a corgi/rat terrier mix, and a miniature pinscher mix. Today our dogs includ my mom's boxer and toy austrailian shepherd and my siberian husky |
