Anywho, i honestly think he may be annoyed....Glacier was great at the pet expo when we went but after awhile he suddenly switched from playful to trying to hide. Maybe give him a day off, play some games in the hotel room (I think you are in hotels no?) and just make it the 3 of you

stress hormones stay in your dog's system for several days, the more stress hormones in your dog's system, the less it takes to get a reaction...

so he hasn't really had much time to calm down all the way after saturday's incident...

basically i think it is a bunch of stuff adding up that is a bit too much for him to cope with...

...singsong voice... "You're not LI-stening!!!!!!"

*stomps foot* I SAID FIX IT!!!

For real though...Fawkes - thanks, I'm hoping that turns out to be it. I reckon that I'll take a few days off from the dog park, focus on Heel, give it another shot on Friday or Saturday. I hate not letting them run and play off-leash...just keep telling myself it's only for a couple of days...

oh... you want someone to just magically fix it for you???? oops, my bad!...

might i suggest

lemme know when you figure out how the damn thing works, i've been waiving mine at clover for a year now, and nothin!

is there any other activity you can do that involves less social pressure? or could you take them really really early to the DP when there aren't as many dogs there? something that exposes him to other dogs a little bit, but doesn't pressure him to interact...

THIS. I know you want to "fix it" but waiting is probably the better option.

cereally, I think he needs some space from other doggies. We bought rope for our guys so they can run out 20 feet or so from us and play with each other...maybe you can get some rope and use that?

If I could I'd use it to fix my cat that is bitching at the new cat that I can't let out because the pit bull wants to "friend" it.
