Question HELP! Biting puppy!!!!!

I have a golden retreiver dog named Daisy. She has always been very excited. She's also really smart, but she uses her smarts to infuriate me as much as possible. She knows what I don't like, how to get my attention, and how to make me late!!!
One of the problems that she has is biting. It's not a gentle nip anymore; she bites pretty hard without realizing how much it hurts. She doesn't do it in an agressive manner, she does it in a I-want-my-way type. She's never spilled blood (she's not agressive) but it still hurts. She'll bite when I take something away from her, or when I play with her, or when she's just plain excited. She also bites a lot when I take her for walks.

How much exercise does she get? She sounds a little bored to be honest

Welcome by the way!!

What have you tried so far for the biting/nipping?

Thanks!

Daisy gets TONS of exercise, trust me. Between me, my sister, and my dad she gets a walk every day and at least a couple hours of playtime (fetch, just plain running around). Also, I am teaching her to jump, and she loves it, so I do about half an hour of that every day.
The only time that she is good is when she is drop-dead tired or when I am training her and she is trying to show off.

I've tried many things. I've tried clamping her mouth shut, but it doesn't work because she is too strong. I've tried yelping (that was the first thing I tried) really loud every time she bit me. I also have tried walking away, but she just gets up, jumps on me, and keeps biting me. I've given her a command as soon as she starts biting, but she won't listen. I try to talk firm, but I'm a bit of a joke to her.

Oh, and she's only a year and a half, so she's still a puppy. She's using biting to get her way, and even though it's a puppy thing, I don't want it to turn into agression.

Oh, yes, and another thing that I have used is a collar that lets out a really high pitch noise that dog's hate when I press a button. It used to work, but now she's become numb to it.

I would continue with this except leave the room 100% and close the door behind you.

Has she been doing this since she was little? This is usually a young pups behavior

The thing is with my dog is that she is smart. If I leave the room and shut the door, she'll destroy the room. She know's that I'm not going to let her out or come in, so she'll start chewing up everything that she can get her paws on. She can reach most high places, so putting stuff up high isn't an option.
She nipped only a little when she was younger, but now it's getting a lot worse.

use a baby gate then. How much training does this dog get daily? She sounds bored stiff...biting/destructive = bored/frustrated. Have you thought about clicker training...101 things to do with a box would be great for a dog like this.

We have this with Mikey with fetch-somewhere along the line teaching him fetch we taught him to jump and bite us We just accidentily reinforced this somewhere-he can be exhausted but if we're playing fetch he's practically mauling us...I'm guessing either your dog needs more exerise (Treadmill??) or something like this happened-accidental reinforcement.

TOTALLY ignore it and walk away -it's hard they're bouncing around and nipping but anything your doing (touching talking) is reinforcing it

I'd completely look up, no eye contact, no touching no talking and then as soon as she stops (timing is everything) praise and treat. BUT she'll likely jump again and bite again. So then repeat!

Like I said, she isn't bored. I think it's mean not to exercise her! But I think that I should do more training... maybe even take her back to training school. Do you think that will help?????
