Changing Behaviour

Hi there,

I seek for helps for my westie "Milly". She is 22 months and doesn't desex yet.
She normally is lovely, energetic, friendly and wanna play and run all the time.

In last 3 weeks I've noticed she has changed a lot for example she doesn't want to play or be happy for walking. She has been very picky to eat than before. She doesn't have bones for chewing.

I have no clues what happen to her, why she's been like that.
Is she on her heat? I don't know how to notice when dogs on heat, I've read there is blood coming out from sex organ??

Another things I could think of one evening when we out walking she got scared with a bigger dog since then when she sees a big dog, she doesn't move just stay standing there doesn't matter how many time I've called her so I have to walk to her and hold her up.

Thank you in advance for any advices.

Can you give a little more info?

Any changes to her routine? Have you seen a vet in case it's a medical issue?

Try to make all games/play times "good" with treats and also walking. Try to make games more interesting. For example you can set up a "search for treats" game or some kongs filled with food. What about some new toys?
Do you think she could be afraid of you for some reason? Sometimes we do things we can't realize that the dog is afraid of.

Go to the vet. Any big change like that could mean a medical problem-so do that first and then try to figure out if something is behaviorally wrong.

Hi,
It is the same routine, haven't changed anythings at all.
Two walks, morning and evening. Giving her chewing bone after walking in the morning. Feeding after evening walk. During the day she runs around the backyard with other 2 dogs.

But lately she hasn't been very happy as before that make me worried.
