I live in the city so it's sort of hard to go rock hunting, usually what we find when we actually get the treat of going out are those hiking sticks. We file off the bark when we get back home so they get smooth and you don't get any splinters. They're useful for hunting and can also act as swords lol.

I like finding natural walking sticks too. I have one that washed up on shore in the Golf Coast, about a year after Katrina, that was totally washed clean of bark and all. I can easily believe it was one of the trees swept out a year before by the hurricane. It's my favorite walking stick. I wish I knew what kind of wood it was. Yes, I do like natural walking sticks too.

Wow...that's a nice peace. I like stones and so on very much. Maybe it's a fossilized skull?

Best wishes, Nici

I found a rock once that had a perfect spiral shell/fossil in the middle, don't know where it went though....
I also found a rock that looked like a wolf head once, though this one was smaller and it looked as if it had it's lips curled up/showing it's teeth and was growling, with it's angry face and ears pinned. Mom threw this one out...I think...
