Learning to paint- I will paint your dogs :)

So I'm getting back into art- ive always been more of a pencil person than anything else but I want to start painting.
So here's the deal, send me a picture of your dog(s) and I will try to paint it for you. I don't have a scanner so when it's done I can send you a picture of it from my cell phone but I will mail it if you want size will vary, but nothing bigger than a standard piece of paper at least for now. I'm not very good at backgrounds so it'll probably just be a color, no detail til I work on that.
Here is my first attempt, this is of my BC

sooo I know it's not great but I'm learning (sorry about the quality, like I said it's a pic from my phone)

i can't wait to see what you do! i agree about the coat tho i cannot imagine how one would go about creating that... lol when people tell me they like his coat, i always say "thank you, i painted him myself " anyway, feel free to use any of the pics on Clover's profile, there are a couple group shots of him with his doggy friends that could be fun for you too!

Thank you Cali! I'm looking forward to see your artwork. It would be great if you could then send me a hires scan or picture of it, so that I can print and frame it.
