He may just have a "sprained" back injury...hurts but nothing permanent. If nothing is showing up in the spinal x-rays than it could just be muscle related. When we get a strained back there is nothing wrong with the spine itself, but the muscles spasm so tight we can barely move. Water therapy especially in warm water, massage and acupuncture can work miracles on this kind of injury. The fact that he is so small is a plus cause it makes him easier to work with. He is very cute...good luck

I've actually thought about water therapy. I could use my bath tub and fill it with warm water. But I am going to wait until he is done with his medicine the vet gave him, I'm supposed to take him back to the vet after he is finished with it and we are going to go from there.

Update

Peaches and Rascal got adopted together this morning by a very nice lady from Cincinnati Ohio. We have had a lot of people interested and a lot of applications turned in but we wont adopt to just anyone so we have turned quite a few people down but pointed them to our other local rescues and assured them they will find the right puppy for there living situations.

This lady has a 16 y/o beagle, and an 8 month old shih tzu. Owns her house, lives by herself, has a fenced in yard, a screened in back porch with doggie doors, and wants to help foster in the future. She is the first person we reviewed and had a glowing application.

I will miss the little guys but I'm glad they have a forever home now.

Yep, Peaches and Rascal are at their new home now. We had her sign a contract saying she must contact us when they get spayed/neutered and also send us vet receipts. If she does not follow through with the contract then we have every right to come get them. Kind of strict but we are a 100% spay/neuter rescue and will not let any pet go un-altered if they have came from our rescue.

UPDATE FOR SQUIRT aka RUDY

He is doing well. Seems to try and walk more when I give him his medicine. Still not using those legs as much as I'd like.

Talk to my boss about him being adopted out and she wants him to get to the point of using his legs and walking everyday before leaving our hands. So it might be a few months before we even put him up for adoption.
I've been praying every night for him!

Anywho-

Here are some cute pictures I got tonight.
