Unable to look after your dog?

Hi,

I foster dogs for people who cannot look after their dogs anymore and and would prefer to have them in a home environment rather than in kennels. Basically I take care of the dog until I find them new loving homes.

Any breed will be considered.

I you find yourself in this situation please get in touch.

Paula

hi there!

i have a sort of situation!

my partner and i have a pom and a pom cross. we are seriously thinking about going travelling for up to 10 months next year but obviously need to consider our doggies in this situation!

we have a sked a few friends and family members who are considering looking after them for us but are a little unsure!

we obviously do not want to give them up completley as we adore them and it would certainly not be fair to put them into kennels or anythin nor can we afford to do it this way of course!

i was just wondering if you knew of any information or advice you could give us? i dunno is there a fostering service out there for this sort of thing or something? any advice or information you could give us would be fab i mean obviously we would leave money for food etc but can't afford pet sitting etc because of the length of time going for?

thank you

If your friends and family members can't take care of your dogs, perhaps you could take them with you.
Traveling with dogs (especially small dogs) is actually pretty easy as long as you plan ahead.

Hello, I could possibly take them depending on what dogs i have at the time. Although taking them with you like the others said is always an option.

i'd love to take them with us and would do on a normal holiday but we are going backpacking and staying in hostels for like 10 months and travelling through about 5/6 different countries so would be tricky if not impossible to take them with us as i doubt hostels all over the world would let dogs stay and travveling on buses etc x

I see your problem. Well like i said, I would happily take them if i can at the time but at the moment i have a very boisterous Lurcher and a greyhound. Hopefully they will have a home by next year though.
