Yeah It's too bad, but he's in super hands-I still want to think about it but I think Mikey said no

Agreed...Chuck was likely NOT his normal self...Mikey probably picked up on that...maybe another meeting once he's all healed up will change Mikey's mind?

I thought about that....truth is he really instantly clicks with a dog or not.

He certainly can tolerate and even play with almost any dog-but there are dogs he just clicks with-and to bring somebody home it would have to be that real good click.

We could certainly MAKE it work-but at the expense of Mikey...he's such a sensitive guy...
We didn't raise him from a pup and he certainly came with a bag full of quirks himself-he's come so far and I don't want to rock the boat with a dog he's not into. Really really-for the second dog-he needs to choose him.

I think Dave said it best when I was upset about none of us feeling 'yes' on Chuck-there are LOTS of dogs out there who we would be a good home that are otherwise unwanted...

honestly, none of my dogs "clicked" at the first intro...as long as they got along and didn't fight, I wasn't too concerned
